"Sarah provides the UTMOST quality of wedding cakes. She is an engineer by training, and IT SHOWS in how professional and flawless her cakes are. Her cake for my recent wedding was absolutely breath-taking. I really appreciated that she sent mock-ups ahead of time so we could go back and forth with designs- she can do literally anything you ask! She also personally delivered it to my wedding which was ~2 hours away from her business for a reasonable delivery fee, which made us feel really safe about the delivery.
I had originally had a different place I went to for vegan cakes, and when I asked them about tiered cakes they told me that they don't do vegan tiered cakes.. and also couldn't deliver, and they also had really limited vegan flavors and fillings. With Plant Baked by Sarah, there truly is NO SACRIFICE at all to have a vegan wedding cake. I loved all the choices and how we could have different flavors and fillings on each layer to accommodate me, my husband, and our guests favorites - so fun! We got a 6 inch, 8 inch, and 10 inch which nominally serves 75 people, and perfectly fed our 60 guests, with a safe amount of leftovers.
All my guests (~90% of whom were not vegan) loved the cake and especially the icing, which wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. Had they not known me and my husband were vegan I think there wouldn't have been any known difference from a non-vegan cake. I'm actually really sad that I can't have another wedding simply to have another beautiful cake from her- but perhaps will do some birthday and anniversary ones from her in the future when we visit the DMV again!"
